The entertainment committee is busily arranging many fun activities for the whole family from August 1 – August 9, 2008.   Current plans include free nightly concerts in Memorial Park (August 2 – 9), daytime entertainment in Wilson Park, with children’s activities in various locations throughout town, and street entertainers downtown and at the mall. A kick-off concert at the Chase Community Hall featuring renowned guitarist, singer, songwriter and comedian Todd Butler will be held Friday August 1, 2008.  Tickets for this concert will be on sale early in the new year.

Watch for advertising about all our guest performers on the Chase Chamber of Commerce Website and in the media once all contracts have been finalized.

Associated with the activities in Memorial Park, there will be the opportunity for local clubs and individuals to purchase concession or sales booth spaces.  There will be a limited number of spaces available and they will be allotted based on the suitability and quality of the product being offered for sale and the date of the application.  Sales space application forms will be available beginning December 1, 2007.    Preference will be given to vendors willing to participate for the full 8 days of the park events.  For further information, call Joan Anderson or Scott Koch after November 15, 2007.
