The Chase
Centennial Celebrity Golf Tournament
is planned for Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at our own beautiful
Sunshore Golf Course. Local golfers and visitors
will have the opportunity to enjoy a day of golf and related activities with
a number of well known and popular public figures. Entry fees for the
tournament will include golf with a celebrity, associated “side” games,
fabulous fun, great prizes, snacks and steak dinner with all the trimmings.
Tournament registration fees will be determined prior to Golf Course opening
in the spring, and we will begin accepting registrations April 1, 2008. The
dinner will be open to the public and tickets for this event will also be
available beginning April 1. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. so that
guests will still be able to attend the Wednesday evening Free Concert in
the Park.
Golf Club members and other volunteers will be needed to assist with advance
advertising, pre-registration, hosting, caddying, games, waiting tables, and
clean-up. Anyone interested in assisting with the tournament may sign up at
the Pro Shop of the Sunshore Golf Course beginning September 22, 2007.
